Cliveden Canadian War Memorial Hospital was once home to a number of restless spirits, including a one-legged soldier and an entity known as 'The Flincher'. The hospital, now sadly no longer standing, was said to be haunted by several shades, with The Flincher being one of the most feared. This ghost was known to haunt the southern part of the hospital, where it would chase people out of the building with a loud shriek and a crash. The one-legged soldier, on the other hand, roamed the north end of the main corridor, and was said to have the unsettling ability to make babies cry if he appeared in the maternity ward.
