Frodsham Flat Frights

Flat above butcher's shop, Frodsham, Cheshire Apparition Modern

In the charming town of Frodsham, Cheshire, a most unsettling haunting took place in a flat above a butcher's shop. Jean Marc Mariole and his wife Charlotte were the unfortunate occupants who had to endure a prolonged period of paranormal activity from April 2010 to February 2011. They reported a range of bizarre occurrences including bed sheets lifting and falling, doors closing on their own, and a shower curtain sliding back and forth. Jean even felt heavy breathing on the back of his neck, a sensation that must have been deeply unsettling.

The Mariole's experiences were so distressing that they were forced to spend nights in hotels to escape the entity. Their story made headlines in the Mail in February 2011. While we dont know the exact history of the flat or the butcher's shop, its clear that the Mariole's were subjected to a intense and varied haunting. The fact that multiple people witnessed these events lends credibility to their claims. The activity seemed to centre around a poltergeist-like entity, characterised by physical disturbances and unexplained noises.

On a stretch of road in Kingsley, Cheshire, heading towards Frodsham, a rather unsettling sighting was reported in 2014. A driver claimed to have seen a hooded figure standing by the edge of the road, just near a cemetery. What's particularly eerie about this encounter is that the figure seemed to be without visible legs. As the driver watched, the entity proceeded to cross the road right in front of oncoming traffic. However, and this is the really strange part, none of the vehicles seemed to react to its presence. It was as if the figure was invisible to them. By the time the driver reached the spot where the figure had first appeared, it had vanished into thin air.
