In 2009, a driver travelling down this road at approximately 22:30h on October 19th reported seeing a man standing in the road with his hand outstretched, as if signalling for the car to stop. As the vehicle drew closer, the figure suddenly vanished, causing the driver to swerve in shock. Fast forward to March 5th, 2021, and a similar sighting was made by a couple driving along the same road. They spotted a tall, dark figure standing by the end of a wall, facing the road, which seemed curious enough for them to turn their car around for a closer look - but there was no one there.

M6 near the town, Knutsford

On the M6 motorway near Knutsford in Cheshire, a driver had a terrifying experience that would stay with him forever. He was driving along when suddenly a glowing white lorry appeared out of nowhere, travelling in the wrong direction. The driver pulled onto the hard shoulder and closed his eyes, feeling the HGV drive past him. But when he opened his eyes again and looked in his rearview mirror, there was no sign of the ghostly lorry.
