Viking Massacre Ghosts
Ridgeway Hill, Weymouth
Ridgeway Hill in Weymouth is a site steeped in dark history. In July 2009, self-proclaimed psychics were quick to sound the alarm when 51 bodies were unearthed, believed to be Viking warriors brutally executed by Saxons in the tenth century. They predicted this grim discovery would stir up paranormal activity, and many think it has. The site was earmarked for the 2012 Olympics sailing centre, but some say the restless spirits of those Viking warriors still linger.
