This imposing property has borne witness to numerous sightings of a tall lady in black, who seemingly materialised dozens of times between 1882 and 1892. Her appearances were not restricted to the night, as she was seen by many during daylight hours too. Those unfortunate enough not to catch a glimpse of her reported hearing disembodied footsteps echoing down the corridors, as if she was still present, just out of sight.

It wasnt just the sound that unsettled the occupants, one of whom witnessed a pram leap into the air, startling the baby inside and causing it to cry. The strange occurrences took place back in 1965, during the summer months of August and September.
