The Ghost of Unity Brook

Unity Brook Inn Inn, Bolton, Greater Manchester Apparition Unknown

Deep in the heart of Bolton, the Unity Brook Inn has stood for years, quietly serving its patrons. But little do they know, this unassuming pub is home to a mysterious presence. In October 2008, the assistant manager began to notice a strange, recurring apparition. This female ghost, dressed in black, has been seen on multiple occasions, leaving staff and visitors alike with more than a few questions. Described as slim, with dark hair and high cheekbones, the entity has been affectionately nicknamed Emily by the staff.

Interestingly, despite numerous sightings, Emily's story remains somewhat of an enigma. What we do know is that she appears to be a young woman in her late twenties or early thirties. Her presence seems to be confined to the inn, with no reports of her being seen in the surrounding areas. The fact that she has been seen by multiple members of staff, including the assistant manager, lends credibility to the claims. While we can only speculate about Emily's connection to the inn, her haunting presence has undoubtedly become a part of its history.

Historical Context

The Unity Brook Inn has been a staple of Bolton's community for years, but its exact history is unclear.
