House next to gas works, Kidwelly

In the small Welsh town of Kidwelly, a house stands with a reputation for unexplained thudding and rapping sounds. Built in the early 20th century, the house was once home to a family who were soon to discover they weren't alone. Shortly after moving in, they began to hear strange noises that couldn't be explained. The sounds were loud enough to be heard by multiple people and were often rhythmic, like a code. On a summer evening in June 2018, around 23:00h, two friends cycling on this track witnessed a bizarre sight. A misty, humanoid shape without features appeared, drifting downhill, its ethereal form seeming to hover just above the ground. The shape paused momentarily before continuing through a field, heading towards a metal bridge over the Afon Llwyd. One of the friends managed to capture photographic evidence, showing a mist hovering above the ground, adding credibility to their extraordinary encounter.

Colliery, Blaenavon

But it's not just the physical remnants of this former coal mine that remain - locals have long reported strange occurrences that cant be easily explained. Back in 1904, one newspaper reported that uncanny sounds were unnerving the locals. It seemed that smashed and removed windows were also being attributed to a ghostly entity, leaving many to wonder if the colliery was haunted.

B4246, Blorenge

Blorenge's B4246 road is known for its winding path through the Welsh countryside, but on one fateful evening it played host to a bizarre and unexplained sighting. A driver and their passenger were travelling along this stretch of road when they spotted a human-sized, white and blue cloud moving along the road. The driver couldn't make out any specific details, but the passenger was able to discern a human-like figure within the cloud. It was 22:30 on 9 April 2016 when this strange encounter took place, leaving both witnesses with more questions than answers.

Varteg Road, Garndiffaith

On Varteg Road in Garndiffaith, a strange encounter took place in the late nineteenth century. A lone traveller was walking along the road at 00:30h when he came across a black dog. The witness tried to stroke the creature but his hand passed through it, as if it were a ghostly apparition. The dog then accompanied the man until they reached Coombs Cross, where it suddenly jumped eight feet into the air and vanished into the nearby cemetery.
