The Woolpack Inn in Chilham is one of those charming old places where the past and present collide. For visitors who have had a drink or two here, there's a friendly ghostly presence to be aware of - a gentle grey lady who seems to take an interest in guests. She's known as the 'resident but friendly ghost', which suggests she's a benign spirit, perhaps one who's been looking after this old inn for years.
