London Inn Inn, Stamford

The London Inn in Stamford has a reputation for being one of the most haunted places in Lincolnshire. On a Tuesday evening in December, back in the early 1990s, around 19:30h, a strange occurrence took place that would leave a lasting impression on the witnesses. A young woman in black was seen walking from the back of the pub and entering the toilets. Her presence was noted by a member of staff and a friend working behind the bar in an otherwise empty inn. They waited for her to emerge, intending to comment on her not buying a drink but using the facilities. However, after fifteen minutes, one of the witnesses grew concerned and went to check if she was okay, only to find the toilets were empty.

Queen Anne's Well, Lincoln

Girsby Hall stands tall in the Lincolnshire countryside but its grandeur is eclipsed by a terrifying apparition that haunts the nearby road. A gang of men once threatened a dutiful serving boy, demanding he let them into the hall to rob it. When he refused and alerted the owners, they were caught but the boy suffered a horrific fate, being skinned alive. His spirit, a massive screaming ball of fire, now appears along the road where his body was found, a chilling reminder of the brutal murder.

On a stretch of road in Lincolnshire, a driver had a sudden and unsettling encounter. It was 14 November 2013 when the motorist spotted a tall male figure standing on the roadside. He was wearing a leather jacket and had medium length black hair. The surprising thing was that the figure seemed to appear out of nowhere and vanished soon after being seen. This brief sighting left the driver with more questions than answers.
