The Former Wonderland Amusement Park in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, is home to a reported ghostly apparition. The ghost, described as an old man, was said to haunt the site back in the 1980s when it was still operational. According to the owner at the time, Dudley Bowers, the phantom would appear but vanish into thin air when spotted. A car was parallel parked next to a bench, and as the driver got out to check they were within the parking zone, they noticed an older lady sitting on the bench, wearing a green coat. The driver turned to comment to her about the lovely weather, but when they did, both the lady and the bench had vanished into thin air.
