Regent's Park Glowing Lion
Regent's Park in London has been home to many a strange sighting over the years, but few are as bizarre as the glowing apparition of a lion. A zookeeper and his granddaughter were walking through the park one evening in the 1930s when they stumbled upon the eerie sight. The creature, which seemed to be made of a glowing material, faded away as they approached it. What's more, the zookeeper was told the next day that one of the lions at his zoo had died the previous evening, at the exact time of the sighting.
Fast forward to August 2010, and a similar sighting took place in the same park. This time, a witness reported seeing a glowing green figure after midnight. The figure seemed to move at a very fast pace, and it caused the witness to flee in fright. Interestingly, another person with the witness was unable to see anything. The witness returned to the scene the next day and realised that the figure had first manifested in a bush. These sightings have been classified as a crisis manifestation, which suggests that they may be connected to a traumatic event or a major change in the environment.
Regent's Park was created in 1816, and it has a long history of recreational and conservation activities.
