Ghostly Lady of Northampton

King William Public House, Northampton, Northants Apparition Victorian

The King William Public House in Northampton has a reputation for being one of the town's most haunted pubs. An elderly lady has been spotted walking along the main corridor on the upper floor, leaving patrons and staff alike with a chill. This sighting was investigated by the Northants Haunted group back in 2007, who conducted a seance on site to try and uncover more about the restless spirits that linger here.

Further investigation revealed that six spirits are believed to remain in the building, one of whom had the initials JG. The pub, also known as the King Billy, has a long history dating back to the Victorian era, which may provide some clues as to the identity of the ghostly lady. While we can't say for certain who she is or what her story is, her presence is undeniable and has been witnessed by multiple people over the years.
