RAF Brawdy Poltergeist

Unnamed house in RAF Brawdy, Haverfordwest, South Glamorgan Poltergeist Modern

RAF Brawdy was home to a rather unusual and intriguing poltergeist case in the twentieth century. A family living in a semi-detached house on the base were kept awake for several nights by loud knocks coming from their neighbour's home. The sounds were incredibly loud one night, prompting the family to investigate and complain to their neighbour the following morning. However, when they went next door, they found their neighbour returning home after a night out, completely unaware of the strange occurrences.

Further investigation revealed that all the furnishings in the house had been moved around, but thankfully, no money or credit cards were stolen. The RAF took the case extremely seriously, even calling in a bomb squad to ensure that an explosive device had not been planted by the mysterious intruder. This unusual case remains a fascinating example of a poltergeist haunting in a military setting, with multiple witnesses and documented evidence supporting the claims.
