However, his appearance was short-lived as he suddenly vanished. The following day, his family received the devastating news that William had been killed in London around the time of his mysterious appearance in the hall.

Nestled in the heart of Kirk Deighton, the Bay Horse Public House has been a local favourite for years, but little do patrons know, it's also home to a rather intriguing phantom resident. In January 2009, an employee caught a glimpse of an elderly gentleman with a receding hairline and long hair sitting by the fireplace.
