Ryton Bridge spans the River Avon, a spot now infamous for the ghostly presence of Thomas Wildey. Wildey was a notorious murderer who met a grisly end, hanged for his heinous crimes. His body was then placed in a gibbet by the bridge, left to rot for many years. Locals and passersby have reported strange occurrences, including a patchy mist that seems to linger over the area, and lights that flit about, as if Wildey's restless spirit still haunts this spot.

Moat House Lane, Coventry

Moat House Lane in Coventry has a rather eerie reputation thanks to reports of unexplained sounds. One man walking along the lane was startled when he heard the sound of wheels moving along the road followed by the unmistakable sound of galloping horses. He had to jump out of the way quickly to avoid being hit. What's intriguing is that there are no farms or stables nearby, which makes the origin of these sounds all the more mysterious.

The Phantom Coach Public House, Coventry

The Phantom Coach Public House in Coventry is famously haunted by the ghost of a coach that met its demise on the very road it now haunts. This spectral coach is said to reenact its fatal crash, careening out of control before disappearing into the marsh where it originally came to rest, killing all on board. Locals and visitors alike have reported seeing this phantom vehicle, and hearing the sounds of a coach and horses in full gallop, even though the road has long since been altered and no longer winds its way through marshy terrain.

Park Hall, Solihull

Park Hall in Castle Bromwich, Solihull, was once the site of some pretty strange occurrences. A family living there in the 1930s reportedly left in a hurry, allegedly driven out by ghostly activity. It seems that tales of a phantom being seen or strange noises being heard persisted for a few more decades after they left. The hall itself was demolished in 1970, but that didnt stop people talking about the unexplained happenings that took place there.

The Old Mill, Coventry

The Old Mill in Coventry has a long history of paranormal activity. One of the most reported sightings is that of a spectral woman in a long dress 'of pale colour' from the early 18th century. She's often seen walking down the spiral staircase to the main dining area, or on the ground floor and in the former mill area.

Coundon was left bewildered on 12 December 2011 when a stretch of the B4098 road was covered in smashed apples. The apples seemingly fell from the sky, with one witness watching in amazement as they rained down onto her car's bonnet. A local resident also discovered his garden transformed into a pulp-covered mess. The sudden and unexplained appearance of the apples sparked curiosity and concern among those living in the area.
