Coventry Art Student Ghost
The Horizon Recording Studio on Warwick Road in Coventry is home to a rather unsettling presence. This former railway building has been the site of paranormal activity since the 1980s, with reports of ghostly encounters from people using the studios. They've felt strange sensations, like something brushing past them or breathing heavily down their necks. Footsteps echo down the corridors, and lights flicker on and off, all without any obvious explanation. It's said that two entities haunt this location: an art student who tragically died from a drug overdose, and a former railway employee who seems to have stuck around.
Situated in a building with a history dating back to the railway era, it's perhaps no surprise that more than one ghost is said to roam the halls. The art student's presence is particularly poignant, given the circumstances of their death. Those who've experienced the paranormal activity here describe feeling a chill run down their spine as disembodied footsteps approach. The lights turning on and off seem to be a favourite pastime of the ghostly duo. While we can't say for certain what causes these events, it's clear that the Horizon Recording Studio has a reputation for being one of Coventry's most haunted locations.
