The Rock Inn in Devon has a long history of ghostly activity, with many reports of paranormal occurrences. One of the most famous ghosts associated with the inn is that of Belinda, a lady who was employed at the inn and brutally murdered by her lover's wife.

The A377 road winds its way through the Devon countryside, a route taken by many a motorist. But for two travellers on 22 September 2022, this ordinary journey took an unsettling turn. As they drove along the road, they heard a motorbike approaching from behind, its engine growing louder with each passing second. Yet, no bike was in sight. The sound of the bike overtaking their car was unmistakable, followed by the fading hum of acceleration into the distance. The witnesses were left shaken by this inexplicable encounter.

The Thatched Inn in Abbotsham, Devon, is a place where the past lingers. In the rolling countryside of Abbotskerswell, Devon, there's a spot where the past seems to linger. The area around St Augustine's Priory, now sadly no longer standing, has been associated with a rather intriguing ghostly sighting. Back in the 1890s, locals reported seeing the apparition of a monk wandering the roads nearby. This spectral figure, sometimes referred to as the Fading Monk, has not been seen in recent years, but its legend lives on. Interestingly, in 2015, a phantom nun was spotted in the same area, sparking curiosity about a possible connection between these two ghostly entities.

Portledge Manor in Alwington, Devon, is home to a fascinating and somewhat eerie phenomenon. In 1868, the Crosse household, who were staying at the manor at the time, were abruptly awoken at midnight by the sound of a ringing church bell. It was an unusual occurrence, especially as the bell's ringing seemed to serve no apparent purpose. The following morning, the Crosse family inquired with their neighbours about the ringing, only to be told that the bell typically rang to foretell a death in the Pine-Coffin family. What made this incident even more remarkable was the later discovery that a member of the Pine-Coffin family had indeed died in India around the same time the bell was ringing.

In the summer of 1915, the skies north of Ashburton village in Devon were abuzz with strange occurrences. Multiple witnesses reported seeing a series of lights floating in the air, sparking widespread curiosity and concern. The Admiralty Intelligence Officers were quick to investigate, and they too witnessed the enigmatic lights rising into the air and vanishing without a trace. It's a mystery that has left many wondering what exactly was seen that summer evening.
