Deep in the Welsh valleys, Aberaman Colliery has been the site of a bizarre and unexplained occurrence. On a Friday afternoon in February 1910, five men working at the colliery suddenly fled their work area in a state of panic. They had spotted something that sent shivers down their spines - a human form, tall and imposing, seemingly materialising out of thin air. The men were so shaken that they refused to return to the area until Tuesday, leaving their colleagues and supervisors to wonder what exactly they had seen.

Sky over Cwmbach estate, Aberdare

Over the Cwmbach estate in Aberdare, a rather unusual sighting took place back in 1979. A witness standing outside their home heard the sound of engines but couldnt see anything at first. They stepped inside their doorway but as the sound grew louder, they went back outside to take another look. Thats when they spotted a twin-engine, dark-coloured Wellington bomber flying overhead, described as being as real looking and sounding as any solid aircraft. The witness didnt think much of it at the time, not realising that there were no airworthy Wellington bombers in existence.

Workers in a local timber yard were busy with their daily tasks when suddenly hundreds of small fish rained down upon them during a downpour. The scene was nothing short of surreal as the fish lay flopping in puddles, still very much alive. The workers quickly filled several buckets with the creatures before they could return to their work, no doubt trying to make sense of this inexplicable event.

Path to Ocean Colliery, Rhondda

Deep in the Welsh valleys, the path to Ocean Colliery, also known as Maendy Pit, is said to be haunted by a mysterious female entity. It's a place where the past lingers, and one fateful evening in September 1887, a lone colliery worker experienced a terrifying encounter. As he walked along the path, lagging behind his colleagues, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning to see who it was, he caught a glimpse of an ethereal woman standing behind him, only for her to vanish into thin air. The worker's cries for help brought his colleagues running, but when they tried to process what had just happened, the entity reappeared and gave chase.
