Clandon House, a grand country estate in West Clandon, Surrey, is said to be haunted by the ghostly apparition of a woman dressed in a cream coloured satin dress. This eerie figure, reportedly named Elizabeth Knight by one source, is often seen walking the grounds surrounding the house, carrying a large hunting knife. According to accounts, she has been known to walk through the front wall of the house, appearing in every room before materialising through the back wall. Her presence is accompanied by that of a male ghost, recognised by his overgrown facial hair, and another female spirit dressed in black.

A3, Guildford

On a crisp autumn evening in 2006, two police officers were driving along the A3 near Guildford when they spotted a bright white light in the distance. As they drove under the light at the Guildford flyover, they could make out a strange triangular shape with three white lights and a dim pulsating red light in the centre. The officers weren't the only ones who had noticed the unusual sight - several other drivers had pulled over to watch the shape, which was hovering above the town. The car, now a tangled wreck, sat quietly in the ditch, out of sight from the road above. What made the scene even more macabre was the recovery of the skeletal remains of the driver.
