Barrells Hall, Ullenhall

Barrells Hall in Ullenhall, Warwickshire, is said to be haunted by the ghost of Lady Luxborough, a woman who spent twenty years of her life banished to the hall by her husband. On a typical day in October 2007, a driver was making their way onto Hockley Road, near the small village of Hatton in Warwickshire, when they spotted a light-coloured car heading towards the humped back bridge. The car was travelling on the wrong side of the road, which immediately caught the driver's attention. As the driver held back to allow the oncoming car to pass, they waited expectantly, but as the car approached, it suddenly vanished into thin air. There were no side roads or junctions nearby where the car could have turned off, leaving the driver bewildered and wondering what they had just witnessed.

A4177 near the village hall, Hatton

On a dark evening in September, 1982 or 1983, a driver and his passenger were driving along the A4177 near Hatton Village Hall when they spotted a ghostly figure standing on the side of the road. The apparition was that of a Cavalier from the English Civil War period, complete with period dress and demeanour. The encounter was brief but left a lasting impression on the witnesses, who were understandably shaken by the experience.
