Capitol Cinema Ghost Actor
Capitol Cinema, Didsbury
The Capitol Cinema in Didsbury has a chilling reputation that's been building up over five decades. Back in 1958, a live broadcast of a show called 'Underground' ended in tragedy when an actor died inside the building. Since then, people have reported all sorts of paranormal activity, from ghostly apparitions to unexplained sounds. It's as if the actor's presence still lingers, refusing to leave the cinema. The cinema's location on School Lane, which no longer exists as it's now replaced by a block of flats, adds to the eerie atmosphere.
